TruLam Laminators

TL-320B

The 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty covers any defects to the machine found within one year from date on original purchase receipt.  This warranty does not cover damage to the machine caused by user error, including machine jams.

The machine hood is removable to allow for cleaning the rollers or removing jammed articles.

Unscrewing the base of the machine voids the warranty since the motherboard that controls machine operation and temperature is very delicate.

How to Extend the Life of Your Laminator:

  • Always be sure to insert laminating pouches with the sealed edge first. This prevents the top layer of plastic from skipping and potentially wrapping around the rollers.
  • Laminate pouches at the appropriate temperature marked on the front of the machine.
  • Not all pouches require the use of a carrier, but carriers do provide extra protection to delicate items.
  • Do not shut off machine immediately after use. Lower temperature to 100°F and allow the machine to run for five minutes before shutting off completely.
  • Care for your machine rollers. Do not use rubbing alcohol to clean your machine rollers - it could dry and crack the rollers. Additional machine rollers are not available for purchase.

The original electrical plug to operate machine must be included. *The TB-SD600 must also include its AC adapter.

Caring for Your Binding Machine with Routine Maintenance

  1. Empty chip tray.
  2. Insert air duster nozzle into machine throat where pages are inserted, then blow out the machine to remove stray chips.
  3. Spray edge of sheet with cooking oil or WD-40, then punch to lightly lubricate machine dies.
  4. Continually punch until no residue is visible on sheets.

Dies

Dies wear out over time. We do not cover replacement dies under warranty. Replacement die sets cannot be purchased separately.

Fuses

It is rare for fuses to burn out; but if they do, we do not supply or replace fuses. Fuses can be purchased on Amazon or from your local hardware store.

Fuse Specifications: 5A F5a 250v Glass, 250 volts

How to Extend the Life of Your Binding Machine:

  • Remove chip tray and empty it regularly to keep machine interior clean.
  • Only turn your machine upside down when the pins are engaged. Pins can fall out if the machine is turned upside down when pins are disengaged.
  • Each binding machine has a punch capacity. Do not overload the machine. Only punch the number of sheets specified.
  • PVC covers: punch 25% of total capacity. (20 page capacity = only punch 5 covers at a time). Use covers with tissue or paper sheets in between to prevent jams. Routine maintenance lengthens the life of your dies.
