Akiles WireMac-E21 Electric 2:1 Wire Binding Machine

The Akiles WireMac-E21 wire binding machine is a heavy-duty, professional-grade wire binder that is designed to stand up to years of high-volume use. The WireMac-E21 has a robust electric punching mechanism that can punch up to 20 sheets of paper at a time (based on 20 lb. paper) and also has a convenient reverse switch to aid in clearing jams. It has a maximum punching length of 14" with an open punching throat for even larger sheet sizes, as well as 27 fully-disengageable pins to ensure a clean and precise punch on documents of any size. The manual wire closer can bind documents from 5/8" to 1-1/4" in thickness, and the wire closer control allows you to make precise adjustments based on the size of wire being used. Built-in side margin and punching margin controls help to ensure a consistent, professional result on production runs of any size, while the diameter scale takes the guesswork out of selecting the best wire size for your document. The WireMac-E21 also includes a wire hanger to aid in inserting pages onto your binding wire. This machine works with all standard 2:1 wire binding supplies, including 21-loop GBC WireBinds.
