The Akiles AlphaBind-CE comb binding machine is a heavy-duty electric binding machine that is ideal for high-volume use. The AlphaBind-CE's powerful punching mechanism allows you to punch up to 25 sheets at a time (based on 20 lb. paper), and is operated with a convenient foot pedal. This model has a maximum punching length of 12" and has 21 fully-disengageable pins, allowing you to accommodate a wide array of specialty paper sizes and types. The AlphaBind-CE can bind books up to 2" in thickness, and offers a four-position adjustable depth margin to set the optimum punching distance for every book. Additional features, like the large, easily-accessible waste compartment and sliding side margin control, make the AlphaBind-CE an excellent choice for large offices and other businesses that have high-volume binding needs. This model is compatible with all 19-ring plastic binding combs, including GBC CombBinds.
