The Akiles iWire 31 wire binding machine is packed with features and has a modern and compact design that makes it the perfect, all-in-one wire binding system for any small office environment. The iWire 31 has a hardened punch die system that is capable of punching up to 15 sheets at a time (based on 20 lb. paper) and has a maximum punching length of 11". This model can bind books up to 9/16" thick with ease, using its built-in vertical wire closer. The closing mechanism is equipped with a sliding size selector bar that allows you to configure the wire closer based on the diameter of the wire being used, which reduces the chance of improperly-closed wires. This model also has wire measuring guides, a wire size selector, a sliding side margin control, and an ample waste drawer to make the entire binding process smooth and efficient. The iWire 31 has a sleek profile and a handy folding cover that helps to keep it clean and protected when not in use. The Akiles iWire 31 is compatible with all 3:1 binding wires (32 loops), including GBC WireBinds.
