I like it.

I have only used it a little bit since I just got it, but ran it for 1.5 hours straight and had no problems.

"Big" little machine!

by -

This little machine is one of our busiest "employees." It gets used by departments all over the resort to laminate signs, menus, pocket guides, name tags and lots more. We had one prior for 5-1/2 years that we finally burned out (poor thing!), so we know this replacement will pull its own weight for years to come.

Only did 50 pouches before heater quit.

by -

Bought this about 1-year ago with 500 letter 3-mil pouches. Only used it about 5 times for a total of 50 letter size pouches, then the heater quit. Unfortunately it is past the 90-day warranty period. Anybody want to buy 450 3-mil letter sized pouches? Not recommended for anyone wanting to laminate more than 50 sheets.

Quiet and effective Laminator

Thanks to read. After 6 hours of use, i don't have anything negative to say about the unit. Seems to be more robust construction than those similarly priced sold in stores were i live. I like the fact that there's thermal protection wich surprisingly, is not the case for every unit. As recommended by a technician, to avoid long term damage to the neoprene coating of the rollers, avoid heating them when not in motion, leave the motor switch so they move during heating/use/cooldown period. The only complaint is that for a canadian buyer, this gets way more expensive than intended, not especially because of the currency exchange rate wich can be verified, but because of the carrier, UPS. In my case, the brokerage fees when delivered added near 40% to the initial cost of unit+shipping. Please consider USPS or another carrier for canadians residents. Alain E. MontrŽal, QuŽbec, Canada
